At Dulwich Wood, Spanish is the modern foreign language that is taught. It is taught once a week from Year 3 to Year 6 by a specialist teacher who uses the Lingua Learn programme.

We teach Spanish to develop communicative skills and to encourage intercultural knowledge and understanding. We seek to open the children’s minds to different cultures whereby they feel they are “Citizens of the World”.

Furthermore, we want to nurture a lifelong passion and curiosity for languages and to consolidate the skills for future language learning.
