Welcome to Dulwich Wood Primary School

Welcome to Dulwich Wood Primary in South London, I am delighted to see you are visiting our site.  We are part of a federation with Dulwich Wood Nursery School and Dulwich Wood Children’s Centre. As part of the federation, you can access all the courses and groups at the children’s centre next door. Click here to see what’s on.

The Minister for Schools, Nick Gibb has written to congratulate us on being in the top 100  performing schools in England based on sustained improvement in attainment at Level 4 or above in Reading, Writing and Maths each year from 2012 – 2015. May I take this opportunity to say a heartfelt thanks to all staff, pupils and families for their efforts.  We were in the top third of Southwark schools in the KS2 SATS in 2016!

One of the senior leaders would be happy to show you around the school if you are looking for a place for your child.

Ofsted Report December 2016

We are very proud to announce that our school received a ‘Good’ from Ofsted following their inspection in December 2016. You can download their full report from the link below.

Dulwich Wood Primary School Ofsted Report December 2016

Our school council have had a read and this is what they said:

Hawks Captain  “This report proves our school is great and it is!”
Eagles Captain “Our teachers work really hard to make learning fun and keep us safe. That is why we are so happy”.
Falcons Captain “We are the only school that has a Fifi and Emu and the OFSTED inspector loved them as much as we do!”
Hawks Vice Captain ‘Our teachers take boring out of learning!’

A BIG thanks from the School Council to everyone who helps to make Dulwich Wood a good school!

We are a solar powered school!

Click on the light bulb to open a new page at Joju Solar which will show you how much power we have made so far and how much we are making today. Our powerstation is on top of the Dining Hall. It doesn’t make enough to power the whole school but every kilowatt it makes saves money and pollution.

You can help it along by turning off lights and computers when you are not using them.
