Welcome Back!
We’ve had a great start to the term! The children have enjoyed seeing their friends, meeting their new teachers and beginning our new Learning Journey ‘Stand by Me’.
Please come along to our Open Afternoon on Thu 10th Sep from 3:30pm – 4:30pm to say hello to your child’s Class Teacher, see their classroom and take a tour of the school with your child.
PE at Dulwich Wood
Autumn Term PE Days:
- Reception – Friday
- Y1 – Tuesday
- Y2 – Wednesday
- Y3 – Wednesday
- Y4 – Thursday
- Y5 – Monday/Friday
- Y6 – Tuesday
- Children come to school in their PE Kit.
Swimming
- Y3 Beech Class – Wednesday at Dulwich Prep. (Y3 Cedar in Autumn 2)
- Y5 Maple – Monday afternoons at Dulwich College. Return by 4:15pm.
- Y5 Redwood – Friday afternoons at Dulwich College. Return by 4:15pm.
- Lessons should begin week commencing 14th Sep, we will update you if there is any change.
- Please make sure that children have a full swim kit including goggles and a swim hat.
Extra Curricular Clubs
- Autumn Term Extra-Curricular Clubs will start on Monday 21st September 2026 and can be booked from 5.00pm on Tuesday 8th September via SchoolsBuddy.
- You will be invited to make a first, second and third choice and we will do our best to meet one of your child’s choices. Please note, it is unlikely that children will be offered places in more than one club.
- We will close bookings at 11.59pm on Sunday 13th September and clubs will be randomly allocated based on your preferences on Tuesday 15th September.
- Once the clubs have been allocated, you will need to make payment by Friday 18th September or the space will be offered to the next child on the waiting list. There is a £5 charge per session for each club.
- Please ensure that your child is happy to do the club for the whole term as we will not swap clubs or issue any refunds.
- Please collect your child promptly at 4.30 pm. If you are late to collect your child more than twice in a half term, they will be removed from the club and no refund will be given.
