Learning Journey – ‘Foundations’

Our new Learning Journey is Foundations. We have had some really interesting discussions about what is needed to build the best foundations and how this helps us in our learning to know more and remember more. Our Making Links tool is going to very useful this term to make connections in all our learning!

Thank you so much to the American Hardwood Export Council in the UK who have kindly donated this amazing ENJOY bench to Dulwich Wood. It was originally designed for Clerkenwell Design Week in 2014 by Sebastian Cox. You can see that the children love it already!

Earth Day 2022 – 22nd April

Earth Day was created to raise awareness about pollution, and celebrate how wonderful and interesting our planet is. First held on April 22, 1970, it is now celebrated globally. Here at Dulwich Wood, we always save energy by turning off lights, using less power-draining items and turning off devices. We encourage everyone to recycle and ensure that we put our rubbish in the bin, and to walk, cycle so there is less pollution from cars around our school. We suggest you do the same daily, so we can have a better future. Earth Day means a lot to Dulwich Wood, so we always take it seriously! – Jake (6B)
