Dear Parents/Carers,
I hope that you had an opportunity to enjoy the snow this week. The pond at school was frozen over!
Thank you for your continued support and all the lovely thank you messages you have been sending this week. I also want to thank you; being both Parent and Teacher isn’t an easy job. As soon as I have any information about schools reopening I will let you know.
Have a well-deserved break from home schooling over the half term, learning will resume on Tuesday 23rd February.

Learning Reviews via Zoom – Monday 22nd February
School Closed to all pupils. No remote learning.Â
We will still be holding Learning Reviews on Monday 22nd February to give you the opportunity to discuss your child’s learning with their Class Teacher.
This is an INSET Day so there won’t be any remote learning uploaded to Tapestry on this day.Â
You can book your appointment via Schools Buddy. Your child needs to be in the meeting so please choose a time that suits your routine.
Food Parcels for Half TermÂ
If you have pre-ordered a food parcel, it must be collected on Thursday 18th Feb between 11am – 3pm.
World Book Day – Thursday 4th March 2021
A message from Mrs Freychet- Stevenson…
We would like you to start creating your costumes for the big day. We want you to be as creative as possible! No excuses! I don’t think shopping for a princess dress or a knight’s outfit is considered to be an essential outing during lockdown. So, use your imagination and let’s get crafty! So many costumes can easily be made using clothing and items you already have at home. You can use an older sibling’s or a parent’s t-shirt as a dress (with their permission of course!). A bed sheet could be used to create a tunic or a cape. A bin bag, a tea towel, an old wig, newspaper, plastic bags, paint, make-up… your options are endless! Have a look at the images on Tapestry for some inspiration.
The Friends of Dulwich Wood would like you to send in a picture of your costume, by Friday 26th February. Once they have all of the photos, they will share them with everyone for us to admire and have an immense game of guess who!
