Drop-off begins at 08:35 via the main nursery entrance
Morning session

Pick-up after the morning session is between 11:25 and 11:35 from reception.
Afternoon session
12:35 – 15:35
Pick-up at the end of the day is between 15:25 and 15:35 via the side gate, which will be opened by a staff member when the children are ready for collection
Public transport
The nearest station is Sydenham Hill Station, and the nearest bus is the 450.
Parking
There is no dedicated parking for parents, and no street parking in the immediate area due to School Street Restrictions which operate on Bowen Drive, Lyall Avenue, and Seeley Drive from:
- 08:00 – 09:30 and
- 14:30 – 16:00
Monday to Friday during term time.

Additional hours
All 3 and 4 year olds are entitled to 15 hours of free nursery per week, funded by the government. This covers 5 sessions per week, Monday to Friday, where a session is either a morning or an afternoon.
Free Sessions
- Morning Session: 08:35 – 11:35
- Afternoon Session: 12:35 – 15:35
You can choose to use your 5 free weekly sessions for:
- 5 mornings
- 5 afternoons
- A combination of mornings and afternoons
Extending to 5 full days
If you would like your child to attend nursery 5 full days per week (Monday to Friday, 08:35 – 15:35), you would use your 5 free sessions and pay for an additional 5 sessions.
In this case, you would receive 5 sessions for free and pay for the additional 5 sessions at £21 each, totalling £105 per week and invoiced monthly.
Other extension options
If you need more than your 5 free sessions but less than 5 full days, you can pay for additional morning or afternoon sessions, subject to availability.
Once you have chosen your additional days you cannot reduce them without giving a term’s notice and will be charged until the new arrangement comes into force.
For two year olds
Some two year olds may qualify for the same 15 hours of free nursery sessions per week, Monday to Friday. The office can provide eligibility details.
We cannot accept children younger than two years old.
Wrap-around care with Emu Club
Breakfast Club
07:30 – 08:50
From 07:30 nursery children can join friends from Dulwich Wood Primary to enjoy a nutritious breakfast and fun morning activities before heading to nursery.
After School Club
15:20 – 18:00
Afternoons are filled with games, crafts and outdoor play until 6pm.
Please note there are only 16 places available daily for 3-4 year olds in Emu Club. Spaces fill quickly so please book ahead.
