Hi there,

Have you just had a baby or recently moved into the area with your under 5’s? Looking for something fun and exciting to do with your little ones and build local connections? or just need some support or advice? Great! You have come to the right place. Welcome.

We have 4 Children’s Centres in our locality all in completely different settings.

What we offer

At Camberwell & Dulwich Children and Family Centres, we offer a safe place where families with under 5’s can come along for information, advice, support and fun with their little one. You will have a chance to meet local families and form community links.

All of our regular children’s activities are free and operate on a drop-in basis, so you only need to find an activity in our What’s on guide and come along! All the information is online or we will happily give you a printed version of our What’s on when you come in. This is updated in January, April, July and October.

We are supported by a number of partner agencies including Speech and Language Therapists and Evelina Community Nutritionists who attend our centres at set dates and times. You can find these details in our what’s on as well as advertised in centres.  You can call us on 0207 525 2017 if you want to discuss further.

Children’s Centres support adults too. We offer pre and post-natal support.  We can offer access to welfare and benefits advice, counselling services, advice and guidance around domestic violence and courses for adults covering topics such as cookery and literacy.

If you are finding life tough for any reason, emotional or practical and have children under 5 you can refer yourself to one of our Community Family Workers.  They will arrange to meet with you and discuss any issues you may be facing and support you through this difficult time.  To access this service please call us on 0207 525 2017.

Visiting us

If you haven’t been to see us before here is some information we thought you might find helpful.

The first time you visit one of our 4 centres we will ask you to complete a short registration form, this will only take a minute and once completed you will be registered for children’s centres across Southwark. This means you simply sign in from your next visit.  If you wish to print and complete a registration form before you arrive you can download it here.

Alternatively, complete and return to cdcfcoffices@dulwichwood.southwark.sch.uk

Prams, bicycles and scooters must be left outside the centre. This is for your safety as in the event of a fire, all walkways and exit points must be clear. We can loan you a lock for the duration of your visit so you can secure your property.

In the event of a fire, you will be led out of the building by your group leader to the evacuation point. The fire evacuation process will be displayed in the main reception.

You are responsible for your child(ren) and belongings when you are in the centre. If you need assistance we will be happy to help but please remain with your child at all times.

Safeguarding is a responsibility we all share. If you see anything that concerns you about a child please talk to a member of staff.
