The Infant feeding support scheme is an initiative designed to assist mothers who face challenges with breastfeeding offering breast pumps on loan to ensure that all mothers have the opportunity to provied their babies with breast milk even if they encounter difficulties nursing directly.

The scheme is open to all families who are southwark residents experiencing one or more of the following:

  • Mother and baby separated
  • low milk supply
  • Difficulty establishing milk supply
  • Difficulty with attaching baby to breast
  • Breast refusal
  • Resting sore/damaged nipples

Referrals can only be done through healthcare providers, local clinic and organisation dedicated to maternal and child health.
