We made sure to introduce the characters and setting at the beginning, include a problem in the middle, and find a solution at the end. Some children chose to write their stories as a book, while others created story maps. We are very proud of our creative young authors and illustrators!

Year 1

Y1 loved using the laptops during their Computing lesson this week. The children were learning about what technology is and identifying technology used both at school and at home, as well as practising how to use basic controls such as the trackpad and keyboard. They were fantastic at using their collaboration tool by taking turns and working together and they also showed great perseverance, continuing to try their best even when they found the work challenging.
