The Fun Run
What a fantastic day for the FODW Fun Run, the children have had so much FUN! Thank you to everyone for all your fundraising efforts. A big THANK YOU to the Friends of Dulwich Wood and Mrs Jary for organising this event!
Running Club News! Last Wednesday ‘Running Club’ ran 5km all the way to Crystal Palace, around the top of the park and back to school all before 8.30am! A huge congratulations to all the runners and to Miss Shaw for her relentless enthusiasm and motivation!

Relationships and Sex Education (RSE)
Summer 2 is when all year groups are taught the RSE curriculum. Please see the RSE Policy on our website, and after that if you have any further questions please speak to your child’s class teacher in the first instance.
Learning Reviews – 11th July & 13th July
Next half you will receive your child’s End of Year Report, then have the opportunity to meet with your child’s Class Teacher to discuss their learning this year. The Learning Review times will be slightly different to previous timings. Appointments will be available from 13:30 – 19:00 and can be booked via Schoolsbuddy.

Pokémon Cards & Football Cards
Please warn your children we are reviewing our policy. The last few weeks some children have not been following the rules, they have been trading for keeps and taking cards that do not belong to them. This is taking up a lot of teacher’s time and causing much distress to children and families. We will update you with our decision but in the meantime please warn your children that if this continues we will unfortunately have to ban them again.

Healthy Lifestyles
Next half term our learning Journey is ‘Healthy Lifestyles’, if you work or have any expertise in this area and are able to contribute to an assembly or give a talk to your child’s class about something connected to this theme please let your child’s class teacher or Mrs Jary know. Our first Assembly back (Tuesday 6th June) will be about the great outdoors and the importance of clean air.
Save the date! Thursday 8th June, 3.45pm, the Elmgreen School Street, SE27 9BZ. Come and join Mums for Lungs at the Clean Air Carnival!
It’s the perfect after-school event. Snacks, squash, biscuits, a brass band orchestra and a clean air chorus. FREE activities; from balance bikes to scooters plus a second-hand bike market, Dr Bike, a science trail. And lots & lots of bubbles! See you there, rain or shine.
