Welcome back to School<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

We have had a fantastic week back at school! All the staff and children have really enjoyed getting back into the school life routine, and like Holly said in her message last week, everything that we thought we might forget, we remembered!<\/p>\n

We are so pleased to welcome back Ms Freychet-Stevenson (supporting the Year 4\/5 team) and Mrs Ahmed (supporting the Year 1 team). They have returned from Maternity leave.<\/p>\n

We will be resuming spelling and maths activities on Tapestry after the Easter Holiday. We will also introduce the Learning Log projects at this time tool.\u00c2\u00a0 In the meantime we would like all children to be reading every day. Books will be sent home, so please check your child\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s book bag.<\/p>\n

Wrap Around Care and Extra-Curricular Clubs will begin on Monday 19th April, and can be booked via schoolsbuddy<\/a> from Thursday 18th March.<\/p>\n

Reading Zoom with Reception\/KS1 Parents<\/span><\/h3>\n

We are excited to announce that for the children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 we have subscribed to a new online reading scheme called Bug Club.\u00c2\u00a0 Bug Club is a levelled reading scheme which ensures that all children can find books at exactly the right level for them. The children will have access to a number of eBooks that will be selected by their class teacher and will support their reading development whilst at home.<\/p>\n

Next week you will receive a letter with more information about Bug Club and how to use it at home as well as your child\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s log in details. You can then take a look and start to explore the programme. If you have any questions please email them to Miss Castle (gcastle@dulwichwood.com<\/a>). We will then be hosting a zoom call on Tuesday 23rd March at 5:30pm in which we will answer any questions that have been sent to us and will provide you with extra information to ensure you get the most out of this exciting new reading programme with your child.<\/p>\n
