If you would like a place at our Nursery, you can pick up an application form from the Nursery office. We invite you to come and view our wonderful setting, and we hold tours every Wednesday morning at 09:30. For application forms or to book a tour please contact our office via email <a href=\"mailto:office@dulwichwood.com\">office@dulwichwood.com<\/a> or call on 020 7525 1192<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are a maintained nursery, that provides places for 2 year olds and 3 &#8211; 5 year olds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We run a term time only provision. We offer wraparound care for our 3 &#8211; 5 year olds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This policy sets out the process and criteria for admissions to the 2 year olds provision and the 3 &#8211; 5 year olds nursery school provision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Admission into the 2 year old provision<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you have a 2 year old, you may be eligible to receive 15 hours of childcare a week. This is available to&nbsp;vulnerable parents. We offer mornings or afternoons sessions. Your child may be entitled to a free place. Please see below criteria:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>income-based Jobseeker\u2019s Allowance (JSA)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>income-related Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Universal Credit, and your household income is \u00a315,400 a year or less after tax, not including benefit payments<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Child Tax Credits, Working Tax Credit (or both) and your household income is \u00a316,190 a year or less before tax<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the guaranteed element of Pension Credit<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the Working Tax Credit 4-week run on (the payment you get when you stop qualifying for Working Tax Credit)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A 2 year old child can also get free early education and childcare if any of the following apply:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>they\u2019re looked after by a local authority<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>they have an education, health and care (EHC) plan<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>they get Disability Living Allowance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>they\u2019ve left care under a special guardianship order, child arrangements order or adoption order.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Childcare support for working parents of two year olds<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Working parents who wish to receive a place in our two year old setting, must provide an eligibility code. Priority is given to families who receive the vulnerable family eligibility code.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We offer 15 hours. Places are either mornings (8:35-11:35) or afternoons (12:35-15:35)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Admission into the 3-5 year old provision<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All children are entitled to 15 hours of free nursery provision from the term following their third birthday. You may be able to get up to 30 hours free childcare.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can complete an application form and will be placed on the waiting list when your child turns 2 years. We offer places on a first come first served basis.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">30 Hours Free Childcare<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are an approved childcare provider and we accept the 30 hours of free childcare for families who meet the eligibility criteria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The child\u2019s parent must apply for the additional 15 hours free childcare through the Government\u2019s online Childcare Service. Eligibility for the additional free 15 hours is determined by HMRC through this online application. Then the nursery will have to check the eligibility with Southwark Provider Portal using the 30 hours eligibility code. This has to be verified termly. To see if you are eligible and to apply for the code please visit the website below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/30-hours-free-childcare\">https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/30-hours-free-childcare<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A code for 30 hours of free childcare will cover 4 full days at nursery and any additional sessions will incur a charge. Please see below for more information. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If we feel that your child is unable to cope with attending nursery for 30 hours we will have a conversation with you. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Top-up service<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We give priority to the children who qualify for the Universal Free Early Education Entitlement (Free 15 hours for 3 and 4 year olds) or the Free Early Education Extended Entitlement (Free 30 hours for 3 and 4 year olds). <strong>Additional paid hours are subject to availability and offered at the discretion of the nursery and reflect the needs of the child. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The first 5 sessions (15 hours) are free as part of the government funding. If you wish for your child to attend nursery beyond their funded hours you will be charged \u00a39 per hour. A full day at nursery is 7 hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading has-custom-gold-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-c168e0863a3800f0c62f89ae51c15b6c\">Free 15 hours <\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you wish to compact your 15 hour per week entitlement into 2.5 days \u2013 this means that your child will be attending the nursery for 17 hours per week. A payment of \u00a318 per week will be required for the additional hours.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Alternatively; you may choose to only prefer 2 full days.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Children that attend nursery for additional hours \u2013 above their free\/extended hours will be charged for this regardless of their attendance. Staff are employed to ensure ratios are adhered and as we have a commitment to pay staff, we must ensure that the costs are covered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you opt to pay for additional hours and stop paying for these additional hours your child&#8217;s hours will be reduced to the free funded 15 hours.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Flexibility with your 30 hours free childcare<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Children will be able to attend nursery with the minimum of 3 full days (21 hours) or 4 full days (28 hours) or the maximum 5 full days (35 hours).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Admission to wraparound care<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Places are available for wraparound care which is held at the Primary school<strong>,<\/strong> this includes Breakfast Club and After School Club. Children need to have settled into their 15 hours or 30 hours nursery place, before being able to access the wraparound services. Children do not start until they are settled. Please visit the office to complete a booking confirmation sheet.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You must book a visit with the office, before your child starts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Breakfast Club starts at 07:30 \u2013 08:50 \u2013 cost per session is \u00a35.00&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Afterschool Club starts at 15:20 \u2013 18:00 \u2013 cost per session is \u00a311.00<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Premium Bookings (Less than 7 days&#8217; notice) for Breakfast club will be \u00a36.50 and Afterschool club will be \u00a316.00&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At Dulwich Wood Nursery we offer places for children aged from two to five years.
